This last week was a full one! We are trucking right along, while revisiting place value and how to add two digit numbers in multiple ways. In reading we ended our session on an author study of Patricia Polacco and we began our writing by diving into focused moments in life. Let the learning really begin!
It was such a joy to meet parents at Curriculum Night last week. I really appreciate your thoughts, concerns and suggestions for our website. With that said, I will add a unit/curriculum update section soon. In the meantime, if you are interested in seeing something else added to the website, please let me know and I'll do my best.
During our conversation last Wednesday it was mentioned that I should ask for what our classroom needs. After thinking about it some, I found two things Room 12 is in need of.
Thank you for all that you do!

During our conversation last Wednesday it was mentioned that I should ask for what our classroom needs. After thinking about it some, I found two things Room 12 is in need of.
- Paper Towels: I didn't add this to the supply list and regretfully so. They are in high demand and we are down to our last roll, so if you could spare one roll of paper towels, that would be greatly appreciated.
- Someone to repair our fan: This is an odd request but I heard of a parent from another room who had fixed a fan and thought I would throw it out there. Ours makes a terrible noise when turned on and although summer is on its way out, if I don't ask now, I will be regretting it next June.
Thank you for all that you do!
